Legalization of prostitution in Moldova

The legalization of prostitution is in discussion now. This may reveal a lot of people and places which are doing this, and will put them under control. As it is known Moldova is one of the countries, which server as source for human trafficking. Moldova occupies the third place.

The legalization could solve many problems: the control of infections, the control of profit etc.

Prostitutes are often beaten and there is nobody that can help them. But with the legalization they will be under protection, and their rights will be guaranteed. Also this will bring considerable sum of money for the budget of the Republic of Moldova.

Now there a lot of debates concerning this problem, but it will be solved soon.

Legalizing prostitution would not solve problems in Modolva. What it would do is increase it in the source country, Modolva.

One prime example of this push down pop up technique is Amsterdam. Since Amsterdam legalized prostitution, human trafficking increased into Amsterdam.

Rather than legally endorsing the government as a pimp, Modolva should adopt Sweden's model in tackling human trafficking: increase laws/enforcement that target against traffickers, provide social services/ a safe space for survivors, as well as for the government to consider other avenues other then allowing a system that exploits women and girls to continue to exist.

im also a volunteer for preventing human trafficking, and i know that a lot of prostitutes from amsterdam are from moldova, unkraine and russia.
here in moldova we cant fright prostitution, at the moment, that is why to put it under control would be better. that is how they will be protected by the law.
